About Finca Talnamica

Finca Talnamica is part of the legacy of the Álvarez Vela family from Ahuachapán. The farm was acquired in the 50s and is located in the mountain range of Apaneca, one of the areas with highest altitudes in El Salvador.

The farm has fertile and adequate soil for coffee crops; it has beautiful views and is rich with flora and fauna with cypress and cedar trees, which protect coffee from strong winds.

Yolanda is part of the fourth generation working the coffee farm. For the last 15 years since they resumed administration of the farm they have devoted their time and dedication. Their objective is to grow strictly high altitude coffee with the highest quality standards, taking advantage of the excellent climate and access to a highway that links Apaneca with the beautiful town of Ataco.

The farm is located in the heart of the famous Ruta de las Flores and it is managed by an enterprising generation that is working hard to preserve the family heritage.
